Requires two Saturdays Feb 21 & Feb 28, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Day one participants will inspect a sample and watch a demo on how to fashion a handle with DAS air dry clay, then brainstorm a design and build their own. There should be time to start selecting the materials desired for the brush part of the project.
Day two the dried handles will be ready to receive decoration and the brush made from various yarns, feathers, threads, etc. Participants will paint the handles with acrylic and finalize their “bristles,” then glue them into the handle.
All materials provided, bring your own apron or borrow one from April.
